Explosive Dragon Fang?

Ok, so I play on Otokans sim as my only source of buddyfight action. Lately I've noticed that a lot of people use a deck that is the exact copy of Exposive dragon fang except with a few tweaks or so. Not only is that completely unoriginal but they also use drum as their buddy. Like doesnt it make more since to have a buddy completely unique? I dunno, I guess its just me but I think that too many people are trying to be like Gao and play that deck. Explosive Dragon Fang is even that good so. Im curios to as to why so many people play it. Can anyone who plays a deck similar to that care to explain because I'm really confused as to why the deck is so popular.
