"The Friends of Dungeon World!" is the 24th episode of the Future Card Buddyfight anime.
Summary[]
Though it is outside Aibou Academy’s rankings, first place in the Super Shopping District’s Shop’s rankings is a girl named ‘Kazane Fujimiya’. Gao challenges her to a Fight, however when the fight starts Kazane asks why Gao has no Buddy monster.
Kazane fights using her Dungeon World deck which is full of mini-games that challenge both player's luck, Gao and Kazan fight fiercely, and during the fight Drum suddenly appears, his Buddy Gift and Soulguard allows Gao to survive Bladewing Phoenix's attacks and the rest of the turn with 1 life left. Another mini-game threatens to reduce Gao's life to 0 if he draws a monster card, but he draws an item card and is able to win with his signature Gargantua Punisher!! After the fight Gao and Kazane become friends, but they noticed Kiri is gone.
Kiri remembers his recent defeat and feels he is weak and Gao will eventually forget about him. Depressed, he is about to get rid of his deck, but is stopped by Rouga Aragami and an evolved Cerberus. Paruko Nanana sees Kiri being apparently kidnapped by Rouga and rushes to warn Gao and everyone, she gets a message from Takosuke that he was taken to Sengoku Academy.
